 Virgil Preda

Virgil Preda works through a direct and expressive pictorial language, where gesture, texture and material presence define the image. His compositions emerge from a continuous process of construction and erasure, retaining the energy of their making. His work is marked by a sustained engagement with materiality and the physical act of painting.
